    Emote It!
Posted By: Sparks on February 4, 2010 @ 11:30 AM PST

    Hey all! Sparks here!

If you want to talk to another Car in World of Cars, all you need to do is Chat.

But what if you want to show a Car that you're happy, you're excited, you're crazy, or you're completely and totally awesome? You can use your emotes.

Emotes lets your Car express stuff without words. You can smile. You can show off. You can even rev your engine.

We'll be adding new emotes as the World grows. And we'll be getting our ideas for new emotes from you. You're the ones who know what you want to say.

So how about it? What kind of emotes do you want?

    Keep Coolant!

hmm... a HAPPY FACE, like this one: but on a car face.

And a piece of pizza... just to add some randomness to it.

Well since many of us are playing other of the forum games, we know about emotes. Now when can we actually use them in the game!?!?!

I want an "Innocent" one, like on PH. But, you know, I'm too lazy to request it haha.

OH, I have an awesme idea! how about if you BUY the emotes. since you get coins, you can use them to buy some emotes from Lizzie (Lizzie is that really old car at radiator springs who sells suveniers and plaques). There should be ones with sounds, motion, stuff like that.

On some of the sites around the internet they say that Doc is like 5 years younger than Lizzie. I find that kinda hard to believe though since I think Lizzie is like a car from the 30's and doc is like from the 50's. On Toontown you have to buy emotes. But what they're talking about (at least what I can see from the picture) are emotes that are put up above you in an animation. Do you think they'll actually have an emote that the car acts out?

In Pixie Hollow it is just a picture that appears above your character and I am guessing from the picture here, that it is the same way.

I agree and I think they are going to do the same faces as Pixie Hollow.

They're going to be with cars though. Originaly they were gonna make the two games Pixie Hollow and World of Cars. Cars is just late getting out. Neither of the games were ever supposed to be as big or complex as Pirates Online, Toontown or VMK. I don't know how I got on this topic but I guess what I'm trying to say is in TT you act out the emotions but here you just get little icons above your head.

You get the emotes over the head in Pixie Hollow as well and they are free, so I see no need to pay coins for them! Coins should be for other things in the game.

    My 2 cents,
