Just a quick note to all in the guild, I'll be mostly absent for the next couple of months. I'll still be popping in from time to time, and the site is still on it's way, but I'm putting Brain in charge for the time being. I trust he'll hold the guild nicely, so keep it going and behave for Brain and noggin.

Hey Guys!

I just wanted to give you all an update. Until the game releases it's beta stage, the guild will be slow. Jack, as you know, has checked out of the race temporarily, and I will be running the guild in his place for the time being. I will be keeping you all up to date as far as the guild go weekly. I hope you all drive safely! I cannot wait for the game to be released!

Alright, after thinking about it for sometime I've come to the conclusion that it would be in the best interest if we as a whole went under a different name in-game than we do here. The main reasoning behind this is that I simply don't see us walki... err, driving around calling ourselves The Pit Crew would be a safe thing to do. It could result in reports and bans for impersonation of Disney staff, rude comments from users that wish to complain to the real Pit Crew about the game, and in short all kinds of a mess.

Now, here's what we're going to do to make this fair. Everyone who wishes to submit what they think our in-game surname should be please PM me with your submission. Do not post your submission in this thread at any time whatsoever. You have until Thursday of next week to submit your entries. Here are some very important things to keep in mind.

• The name should be similar or somewhat reflect our real name, The Pit Crew, as we will be keeping this name on the forums unless we are asked to change it. If you submit a name like "Jack's Wacky Racers", "The Speedsters", or something not even close to our original name, you're submission will be ignored.
• Be simple, but creative. I want you to think about it really hard, but don't go too overboard. "The Crew" or "The Pit Crew v2.0" just lack all thought to me, and I'd like to see something more. Maybe an acronym, play on words, just use your imagination.
• Remember, this is a blind vote, not a contest. To keep everything fair no one should reveal what their entries were. We want to keep this as fair and unbiased as possible and that's why we are having a blind vote. Only I will know who submitted what, and I will refrain from taking a vote myself. No awards are coming from this either, this is simply something for the greater good of the guild.

Should no entries be submitted by next Thursday, the Officer Staff will work together to create names and a vote will be held as to which we would like to use.

New Site Delays, More info Coming...
Due to some minor... err... "hiccups" from my computer, I've had to wipe and start completely over. I have most stuff for the site still saved, but until I get a chance to reload all programs necessary to work on the site a new version as well as site updates from me have come to a standstill. Fortunately, we still have Brain to keep you updated with news and the GM Blog over there, just don't bug him too much about it. ;-)

While beta tests are for serious testing of an upcoming game, there's always time to squeeze in a little bit of fun. There's no set in stone events yet, but stay tuned as we prepare for some fun times - and some serious work while we're at it - in the coming weeks and months.
